Lil Kim was born on 11th of July 1975 at Brooklyn, New York, USA to the couple of Linwood Jones and Ruby Mae. She is one of the most talented and hard working lady in the inustry. After she released her first album she took a break from all this.
She has been effected by the death of Christopher Wallace hugely. Then came her second album after she combined with producer Sean `Puffy` Combs. Combs has got great respect for Kim because Combs thinks that Lil is a perfectionist. It all began to happen in the Combs`s own New York City studio.
Some well known talents also helped her like Mario `Yellowman` Winans, Shaft, Nasheim Myrick who is the Bad Boy studio team member, Kanye West, Rockwilder, Younglord, Carlos Broady, Jerome Foster, Darren Henson and Deric Angelettie.
For `Revolution` Kim worked with Grace Jones. Kim was very much impressed by Jones. Kim said that Jones is a livestock of energy. When she went to Bahamas, Jones was doing a show. They went on to meet and party together the whole night.
The `How Many Licks` saw Kim penetrate into the sexual politics. The high bit oriented `No Matter What They Say` was inspired from the Caribbean. Here Kim delivers about the total life cycle and style of the Queen Bee. Kim describes about total sexual supremacy in `She Don`t Love You`.
Kim also combined with Puffy and delivered `Queen Bitch Part 2`, a bold track that makes the artist different from others. Her other different works which send ripples in the industry were `Don`t Mess With Me`, `I`m that bitch`, `Do What You Like`, `Off The Wall`, `I`m Human`, `Right Now`, `Tom's Diner` and `Aunt Dot`.
Lil Kim is different from others because of her boldness combined with smartness and intelligence. She has already achieved fame in the industry and there`s no stopping her.
