Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19, 1972 at Brooklyn, New York to the couple of Tom and Lin. Her life took a new direction after she saw the Broadway play 'Annie'. She immediately turned to her parents and convinced them that she could play that. She professionally made her debut when she was only 8 years old in the same Broadway hit.

Alyssa Milano made her film debut at the age of 10 in 'Old Enough'. This was a turning point in her life. After two years she played Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter in the movie 'Commando' which became a great success.
After appearing in numerous plays and musicals in the year 1984 she made her television debut at the age of 11 as 'Samantha Micelli' in the comedy 'Who's The Boss'.
She won three Film awards for Best Supporting Actress for the outstanding achievement in 'Who's The Boss'. This show went on for 8 years. Later Alyssa recorded five albums in Japan, all of which were big hits.
Alyssa has also appeared in many movies, like 'Fear', 'Poison Ivy 2-Lily', 'Embrace of the Vampire' and 'Below Utopia' in the later years which became a success.
After several years of silence in comedy soaps, Alyssa made her come back by playing Jennifer Mancini in 'Melrose Place'.
