Kirsten Caroline Dunst was born on 30th April 1982 at Point Pleasant, New Jersey, USA. Kirsten was born to the couple of Klaus who worked as a medical services executive and Inez who was an artist. She has got a brother Christian who is 4 years younger than her. Klaus divorced Kirsten`s mother when she was 13 years old. Kirsten`s career took off when she became an Elite model at the age of 4 years. While doing modelling she continued doing commercials, and small roles in television and films.
She starred in many films that includes `High Strung` and `The Bonfire of the Vanities` but her real opportunity came only at the age of 13 when she starred in `Interview with the Vampire` playing the role of a young vampire, Claudia. This role in the movie `Interview with the Vampire` took her to new horizons and helped her to get other roles. She was also nominated in the MTV Award for Best Breakthrough Performance, a Golden Globe nomination, and the Saturn award for Best Young Actress.
From here on she didn`t have to look back. Kirsten starred in over 30 other films and worked very hard to accomplish her goals.
